What a great title!

Seriously, though, these are the people that I recommend without hesitation and will almost get mad at you for not calling when you need solutions at various points in your business. Tell them Gower sent ya.

Virtual Assistants, Virtual Assistant Training, Social Media Consulting

This chick is literally an Angel. Assistant Angel is a high-end specialty VA service specializing in digital and social media SEO and strategy services and implementation. New VAs looking to learn the nuts and bolts of starting their own VA service can also hit her up for specialized mentoring.

Commercial Photography

One of the few photographers, okay, the only one, that I allow to take my candid photos at events when I normally dive around the corner come clicky-time. Cramer Gallimore isn’t just a ‘point and shoot’ kind of photographer. His acumen for lighting, distance, retouching, and more – no matter the occasion – means that you can be conservative or creative while still looking professional and full of personality. Check out his work at CGPhoto.com.

Sales Outsourcing

Speaking of selling things, Gilbert Pagan has started a company that recently was named to the Inc. 5000 list. Still not impressed? Then check out his setup: for various monthly fees you can rent your very own sales force – think outsourcing, but the kind that literally makes you money, rather than just saving it. Lease a Sales Rep has helped many folks get off the ground by providing the folks that get the deals done.

Green Organizing

What? Green organizing? It’s upcycling to the max. Julie Seibert of Healing Through Organization is not your average pro organizer. This one will actually take what you already have and help you figure out why you have it in the first place. Then, after a gentle purging (using green recycling and disposal methods), she will help you take what’s left and organize it in a way that you might not have to call her again. It isn’t about putting things in their place, it’s about figuring out what really gets a place.

Money Coaching

Paige Armstrong singlehandedly changed the entire course of my life last year. I’ll shout her name from the rooftops until the city reminds me I don’t have a permit to do that and would I please stop. Seriously, work with her for a couple of sessions and you will have bigger and better clients by the weekend. There’s a caveat, though: you have to bring yourself to the table. No quick fixes and no pansying out when you see that you might have to face some discomfort in your past.

Masterminding/Personal Growth

Leslie Flowers runs  a great mastermind based on Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. It’s not woo-woo, it’s not The Secret, it’s not “if I think about it hard enough it will happen and all my problems will be solved,” so don’t even approach her like that. What it IS is an 8-week mastermind (or a one-day intensive, depending) that facilitates the principles outlined Hill’s book and how to apply it to your life and business.

Copy Writing

No, not the kind that gets you a special seal from the Library of Congress. The kind that wins awards and nets bigger clients. Christine Alexander of The Write Strategy will start from scratch or completely revamp whatever you cobbled together to turn you from wannabe to bring it.

Clean ceilings

Unless you work in the park every day (guilty!), then you have what are called ceilings. Ceilings get dirty, especially if you own a restaurant or bakery-oriented establishment. Quit grossing your clientele out and either start working in the park or call Bob Butler with Carolina Brite Ceilings to get those puppies sparkling clean.

Pay it forward! Share this stuff with someone whose business will be better for it.
